Well, this is a sad day.

My sister woke me up this morning with some shocking news. The house I'd lived in for seven years of my life had burned down earlier that day. All that was left was one of the garages.

All of the good years of my childhood took place in that house. The squirrel that snuck in through the window. The treehouse. The fort me and my friends built in the woods. I haven't felt this sad in a while.

Apparently the new owners, instead of using the ash dump, decided to remove the ashes and put them in the garbage can in the mudroom which then caught on fire, which spread to my old room and the first garage and quickly spread.

I am sad.

My neighbor sent pics.

yay.
